My name is Maya Turner, and for the past 5 years, I've had the rewarding experience of guiding 150 students on their academic careers. My passion for education and tutoring students stems from a desire that originated from my childhood and also to help be a catalyst to learners' growth in understanding the multitude of concepts present in the subject of mathematics. Leveraging my background in Engineering for which I have B.Sc degree from the university of Ohio State, I can provide strong instruction in mathematics, while also offering support in mechaincal engineering and Revit. Outside of tutoring, I find myself drawn to listening to music and podcasts, which I believe fosters a well-rounded perspective that I integrate into my teaching approach.

To effectively cover and revise a subject like Mathematics, I will first establish clear learning milestones with the student to ensure alignment with their academic aspirations. I will then simplify complex concepts, applications and diagrams with the help of official study materials and visual aids . I will make it a point to regularly evaluate student progress through tests (Both oral and written), assignments, or discussions to identify areas for improvement and adjust teaching strategems as needed.
