This ensures that you study from qualified, experienced and verified tutors who create high quality outcomes for you. We provide tutoring services to school students as well as university students. We have expert online tutors for primary, middle, and high school. Our university tutors offer online tutoring support for concepts, test prep, and assignments. We have a network of 1,000+ tutors for a wide range of subjects including Coding, Math and Science. Our coding portfolio includes Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, R and several other languages. Wiingy also provides tutoring support for Test Preparation for NAPLAN, OCT, SAT, and ACT.

Wiingy looks for highly motivated, and hardworking tutors. Tutors can choose from over 100 subjects to teach online such as Math, Chemistry, Physics, Computer, Science, Coding, and more. Tutors who can offer AP, SAT, ACT, and other standardized test preps in their respective subjects must apply at Wiingy. Both freshers and experienced tutors are welcome to apply, provided they fulfill the three crucial criteria of selection which are as follows: Tutors should have a bachelor's degree or experience in the relevant field. They should be able to communicate seamlessly and meet the learning styles and goals of different students. The most important requirement is that the tutor must be able to customize and tailor the lessons according to each student’s needs.

You can become a Wiingy tutor in 3 simple steps: Step 1: Apply using the online form Fill up our online form. We will need your educational background, qualifications, and expertise to teach your desired subjects. Share your contact details so we can reach you. Step 2: Appear for an online discussion Your profile will be shared with our expert panel for review. If you are shortlisted, we will reach out to you to schedule an online discussion. A typical discussion is between 55 minutes to 1 hour and may include a mock tutoring session. Step 3: Final selection and onboarding Selected applicants will be informed through phone and e-mail. You can expect a response from us within 7 days of the online discussion. After the joining formalities, you will be invited to an online onboarding session where we will give you a walkthrough of our processes and systems.

The roles and responsibilities of an online tutor include: Scheduling and delivering 1:1 Online Live sessions to the student. Preparing and delivering the learning material, to the student as per their learning objectives. Helping the student with any particular assignment, homework, or project if required. Training the students for tests and exams. Personalizing tutoring according to the learning needs of the students.

These are the devices you need to tutor on Wiingy: Functional Laptop. Good WebCamera (Inbuilt camera of Laptop also works). High-Speed Wifi Connection (Minimum 25 Mbps). Proper lighting devices, uniformly enlighten the tutor’s setup. Pen Tablet (In case you are going to teach any theoretical topic).

You can choose from 100+ subjects that you can opt for, which range from theoretical topics like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, etc. You can also teach tool-based topics, such as Computer Programming Languages like - Python, C++, Java, Javascript, etc.

We don’t charge any commission. It is free to join the Wiingy tutoring platform. Tutors are paid based on their qualifications, expertise, and experience. It’s difficult to quote an exact amount because the payout varies depending on the mentioned criteria.

The tutoring sessions take place over the online video conferencing software called Google Meet.

It takes around 20 minutes to complete your tutoring application at Wiingy. To ensure you're well-prepared for your application, it's essential to organize the required documents and information for verification purposes. Your Resume Your educational qualification certificates and any certificates related to your academic or professional achievements. A government-issued identity proof. Furthermore, consider including details about your relevant previous experience, such as practical proficiency with tools and any prior teaching experience.

Before your interview with Wiingy, it's crucial to set up your environment and get ready for the process. Follow these guidelines: Ensure you have a functional laptop. Create a well-lit environment for your video conference. Guarantee a stable and high-speed Wi-Fi connection. Use a high-quality camera for clear video. Use proper earphones or headphones for clear audio. During the interview, be prepared for the following: You may be asked to conduct a mock session. Review these topics and do some research to prepare for the demonstration. Give accurate answers regarding your availability, i.e. what time of the day is most suitable for delivering your online sessions? What are the days you aren’t available (if any)? Be ready for questions related to handling various situations. The interviewers will want to know how you would handle situations while considering the interests of all stakeholders, including students, their parents, and yourself. By following these guidelines and preparing for potential scenarios, you can increase your chances of success in the interview process with Wiingy.

You will get your offer letter after clearing your interview round. Ensure to carefully read the terms and conditions of the offer letter before signing the same. After the joining formalities, you will be invited to an online onboarding session where we will give you a walkthrough of our processes and systems.

You do have the opportunity to re-apply to Wiingy after 30 days of your initial application. Each application will be reevaluated based on its merit.

Once you are accepted onto the platform, you will be given access to specific tools where you can find tutoring opportunities based on your subjects and availability. You will need to accept the requests that you are willing to take on. Then, based on certain performance assessment algorithms, the demo will be assigned to the most qualified tutor. You will be informed if a demo is assigned to you, typically 8 to 24 hours before the demo session.

You can increase your chances of getting more students by following these tips: Ensure your students meet their learning goals. Keep your tutor profile up-to-date. Make sure you list all the subjects you tutor for. Increase your available hours. Be prompt in accepting student requests.
