What is the referral program offered by Wiingy?
The referral program offered by Wiingy is a way for you to earn a reward for every student you refer to our tutoring classes for a free lesson. If your friend completes their free lesson, you are eligible for referral reward of $10.
Who is eligible to participate in the referral program?
The referral program applies only to the residents of United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Whether you are a current Wiingy student, a parent of a student, or someone interested in referring students to our classes, you are eligible to participate.
How will I receive my reward for the referral?
Your reward for the referral will be processed after your friend signs up and completes a free lesson at Wiingy. You can check the updates for your referral activity after logging in.
Is there a limit to the number of referrals I can make?
Yes, there is a limit to the number of referrals you can make. Each referrer can refer up to a maximum of three users. Referrals are only counted if the referred student completes the free lesson.
Is there anything else I should know about the referral program?
Yes, please ensure that you provide accurate information for the referral and that the referred student completes the free lesson to ensure that your referral is counted. And make sure the email address to which you’re referring is correct, as the gift card will be processed only to that email address. Read the Terms and Conditions to know more.
What do my friends need to do?
To qualify as a 'Qualified Referral', your friend must sign up with Wiingy using the unique referral link that you provide them and book a free lesson.
Your friend must attend and complete this free lesson for the referral to be counted. After these conditions are met, you will receive your reward.
If your friend enrols in Wiingy's tutoring lessons, they will automatically receive a 10% discount on their first purchase with us.
What does an invited referral mean?
An ‘Invited Referral’ refers to a friend that you have shared your unique referral link with but haven’t signed up with us and booked a free lesson.
What does a pending referral mean?
A ‘Pending Referral’ refers to a friend who signed up with us using your unique referral link but hasn’t yet completed their free lesson. Once they complete this stage, they’ll be counted as ‘qualified’.
What does a qualified referral mean?
A ‘Qualified Referral’ refers to a friend who has signed up with us using your unique referral link and completed their free lesson with us. You will be getting your referral reward once the referral reaches this stage.
Why did I receive a different reward amount than expected?
The referral program by Wiingy can be modified or cancelled at any time. The amount can change subject to policy but the most recent updates will always be available on this page for you to read and to refer.
Referral terms & conditions
*The Wiingy referral program is open to all users. To qualify for a reward, a referral must be a new user who signs up for Wiingy’s tutoring program using a unique referral link and completes their free lesson. Invited referrals are referrals sent by a current Wiingy user through the referral program platform to a friend or acquaintance. Referrers will receive a $20 Amazon gift card or an equivalent reward within 14 days of the referred user completing their free lesson. The email used to create the unique referral link will receive the Amazon gift card. Referred users are eligible for a 10% discount on their first purchase with Wiingy after successfully completing their free lesson. Self-referrals are not valid, and invited referrals must be sent through the referral program platform. Pending referrals may take up to 14 days to be confirmed as qualified referrals. The referral program is valid until May 30th, 2023, and each referrer can refer up to a maximum of three users. There is no age requirement for participating in the referral program. However, this program is currently available only to the residents of the US, Canada, Australia, UK, and New Zealand, and the referred person must complete at least a one-hour free lesson to qualify. Wiingy reserves the right to disqualify any referral or withhold rewards if fraudulent activity is suspected. The recipient of the referral reward is responsible for any applicable tax liability resulting from the reward. Wiingy may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time without prior notice.
