The Opportunity class program by the New South Wales government provides an excellent environment for Students in Year 5 to join select classes designed to hone their academic skills and contribute towards a brighter future for the nation.

Every year in July, students across the nation have access to testing and learning opportunities through Opportunity Classes.

Not only are test centers available in many cities for those able to attend in person, but remote learners can also join with an offline mode option provided by Aurora College.

With only 1800 students placed out of the 10,000 applications across 77 primary schools each year – this selective program requires a lot of preparation and perseverance.

The New South Wales government has made the process of applying and preparing for the OC test an easy one, saving busy parents and students stress.

OC has three paper-based tests: Mathematics, Reading test, and Thinking test. Students attend all the tests together for a total of 90 marks.
