About
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University, I decided to continue my education by pursuing a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas. As a result, I have gained valuable technical knowledge of the biochemical field as a whole. I have collaborated with several other research teams and trained high school to graduate-level students. Working with other research groups has allowed me to work successfully with many personalities. Mentoring a Welch Scholar, Clark Scholar, and multiple undergraduate researchers equipped me with the skills to teach individuals with various education and experience levels. My unique journey has endowed me with a versatile knowledge base. Each new project has presented distinct challenges, and my adaptability has been pivotal in overcoming them. This knowledge has aided me as a teaching assistant for chemistry laboratory and lecture courses. I have taken pride in preparing for laboratory courses, guiding students on laboratory skills and objectives, and mentoring students during office hours. I have effectively assessed student skills, designed questions, and proctored exams, showcasing my ability to educate at the university level.
