I emphasize how important it is to build a strong foundation on fundamental concepts. Instilling in students a thirst for learning and helping them to connect the dots between abstract concepts and real-world applications, in my opinion, is the key to academic success. My customized lesson plans are based on the academic goals, strong points and areas for improvement of each student. I assess each student's current level of content comprehension and develop a program that focuses on their areas of weakness. I use a variety of instructional resources, including interactive websites, interactive learning modules, and practical exercises. I give time management advice, lead practice exams on a regular basis, and coach students through the test's format.
