I am a freelance tutor with 2+ years of experience teaching Statistics, Python, SQL, and MATLAB to students of all levels. I have a strong background in mechanical engineering and have worked as a technical support engineer within an edtech company. I am passionate about teaching and helping students succeed. In addition to my teaching experience, I am also currently transitioning to a career in data science. This gives me a unique perspective on how to apply the programming languages I teach to real-world problems.

My teaching methodology is based on the following principles: Hands-on learning: I believe that the best way to learn Statistics, Data Science, and Programming is by doing. In my lessons, I focus on giving students plenty of opportunities to practice writing and running code. Personalized instruction: I tailor my lessons to the individual needs of each student. I assess their prior knowledge and skills at the beginning of each session and adjust my teaching plan accordingly. Positive reinforcement: I believe that it is important to create a positive and supportive learning environment. I encourage my students to ask questions and make mistakes. I also celebrate their successes, no matter how small.
