Creative Spanish Lessons with Interactive Learning Approach

I'm a writer, translator and professor. I studied a Master in Creative Writing in Spanish at New York University, where I also did the training in pedagogy of teaching Spanish as a second language. At that university, I have taught Spanish for beginners. I've also had advanced students as a private Spanish tutor and I taught Intermediate and IB Spanish in Brooklyn Prospect High School. I have been a professor of Screenwriting, Journalism and Cultural Theories at the Public University of Argentina for more than six years, where I continue teaching remotely: Cultural Theories and Academic Reading and Writing. I'm a writer, screenwriter and, during the Master, I attended Translation Workshops where I have translated a poetry book from English to Spanish and the whole script of a Mexican movie into English. After that I've participated in different freelance projects as a Script Translator and Cultural Advisor. I'm currently working as an academic translator for CUNY. I have a degree in Communication, specializing in Journalism. For five years I coordinated the Communication of the Secretary of Education, where I also leaded literacy and gender programs. Previously worked for 7 years in the press office of the municipality of my city. I have managed several social media accounts during these years. Finally, I was part of a Communication Cooperative for 10 years, where we published a magazine, filmed documentaries and shared communication workshops. I also taught my own writing workshops in libraries, educational programs and book weeks and fairs.

Engaging Spanish Lessons with Structured Learning Approach

I have studied Spanish for 10 years and I think it's a beautiful language. I'm also fascinated by the Spanish culture during these years. I decided to become a Spanish tutor as teaching is something that I've always loved. I wanted to share my passion for the language with others and help them to achieve their goals. I can't imagine doing anything else in my life. Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things. I have more than 3 years of teaching experience.I use a variety of teaching aids, including audio-visual materials, multimedia, and computer-based programs, to help my students develop a stronger understanding of Spanish culture. also, I try to create fun and interactive lesson plans by incorporating games and music to enhance my students' enjoyment of the learning process. • I engage my students in group work activities to develop their collaborative skills. • I instruct my students in grammar, pronunciation, spelling, and vocabulary, while also providing speaking and writing exercises to improve their language proficiency. • I create and implement lesson plans based on the individual needs of each level and group of students in order to achieve the teaching objectives. • I schedule and prepare my students for tests, quizzes, and examinations, such as the DELE, by providing education on exam strategies, materials, and study tips.
