How to schedule lesson with your tutor

At Wiingy, we believe that clear communication leads to a successful tutoring experience. Coordinating lesson schedules with your tutor ensures that both you and your tutor are aligned and that you can make the most of your learning time.

How to coordinate lesson scheduling with your tutor

Coordinating with your tutor is simple and can be done directly through the Wiingy app or portal. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Use Wiingy Chat: The Wiingy Chat feature allows you to easily communicate with your tutor about scheduling. You can discuss preferred lesson times, and share your availability with the tutor.
  2. Review your tutor’s availability: Before scheduling, make sure to check with your tutor for their availability.
  3. Agree on a time: Once you and your tutor have agreed on a suitable time, confirm the schedule in the app. The lesson will automatically be added to your calendar, and you’ll receive a confirmation notification.

What to do if you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson as a tutor

Plans can change, and sometimes you might need to adjust your schedule. Here’s what to do:

  1. Communicate with your tutor via Wiingy Chat: If you need to reschedule, message your tutor to propose a new time. Once you both agree, the new lesson time will be updated in the system.
  2. Cancel the lesson: If you can no longer attend the lesson, inform your tutor as soon as possible and cancel the session to avoid inconvenience for your tutor or yourself. For more on this, see How to cancel a lesson with your tutor.
