We’re confident that you’ll connect with a tutor who’s the perfect match for your needs, but if you feel that the tutor is not as per your expectations, your first lesson with a new tutor is protected by Wiingy’s Perfect Match Guarantee.

This means that if you feel that your current tutor is not a good fit for your tutoring needs, you can ask Wiingy for a change of tutor. We will not charge you to find a suitable replacement tutor. The first lesson offered by any new tutor (even your replacement tutor) is covered under the Perfect Match Guarantee program.

Getting a Replacement Tutor

• Chat with our support team via “help & support” section in the app

Using Your Purchased Lessons

Lesson validity Your purchased lessons are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You’re free to pause and resume at your own pace within this window. Please note that any unused lessons will automatically lapse after 12 months.

Swap subjects anytime Not sure you want to continue with the same subject? No problem. Your unused lessons can be swapped for any other subject of your choice. Wiingy offers tutoring across 100+ subjects — browse our full list of tutoring topics here

Refund Policy

We understand that learning needs can evolve, and we want you to have full flexibility along the way. You can pause and resume your lessons anytime within the 12-month validity period, and you’re always free to switch tutors at no extra cost or use your purchased lessons whenever it suits you.

At the same time, we aim to ensure a fair and transparent experience for all our users. Please review the following conditions to determine your eligibility for a refund:

Eligible Payment Only your most recent payment is eligible for a refund. Prior payments are not considered for refund requests.

No Lessons Taken To qualify, you must not have taken any lessons since your most recent payment. Once a lesson has been conducted, the payment becomes non-refundable.

Request Window Refund requests must be submitted within 15 days of your payment date. Requests made after this period will not be accepted.

Tutor Transfer If your subscription has been transferred to a new tutor, you are no longer eligible for a refund, regardless of other conditions.

Lesson validity Your purchased lessons are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You’re free to pause and resume at your own pace within this window.  If the refund window has passed, don’t worry, you can still use your lessons anytime within the validity period.

How to Request a Refund

If you enrolled on or after 1st April 2026 (Subscription) You can request a refund directly through the Wiingy app. Simply click on the Refund option within the app and follow the steps.

If you enrolled before 1st April 2026 (Package) Please chat with our support team – “help & support” section. Our support team will review your request and process your refund. You’ll receive an email confirmation once the refund is completed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation applies only to subscription plans (enrollments on or after 1st April 2026). If you enrolled before 1st April 2026 under a Package plan, cancellation is not applicable, as Package plans involve a one-time payment with no recurring charges.

Cancellation is different from a refund. When you cancel your subscription, your future payments will be stopped, meaning no further amount will be deducted from your account. However, your most recent payment remains with Wiingy and is not returned as part of the cancellation process. The lessons you have already paid for remain available for you to use within the 12-month validity period.

In summary:

1. Refund. Your most recent payment is returned to you, subject to the eligibility conditions stated above.
2. Cancellation. No future payments will be charged, but your last payment is retained, and you can continue using any lessons already purchased until they expire.

When to Cancel. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect from your next billing cycle, so you will not be charged again after the cancellation is processed. 

No Refund After Cancellation. Once your subscription has been cancelled, it cannot be refunded, as cancellation is treated as a final confirmation that you wish to retain access to your purchased lessons while stopping future payments. If you believe you may be eligible for a refund, please submit your refund request first, before initiating a cancellation.

Your Lessons After Cancellation. Any lessons already paid for under your most recent payment remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. You can continue to schedule and attend these lessons, switch tutors under the Perfect Match Guarantee, or swap subjects, even after cancelling your subscription.
