I don't make you buy random books of chords or scales and I don't assign or demand you ever to do any specific kind of homework. I teach by learning SONGS - the songs that YOU want to learn. The ones that WHEN you actually experience what it feels like in your own body and being to play, you lose your sh-... mind. Any age and any level of playing experience is welcome. As of this moment, of the students that I get to teach in person, my youngest is 5 and my oldest is 70. Music is for everybody. While the things within music that move us may all be very different, they move us all in equally profound ways.
