ACT scores take at least 14 days to be released. Let’s just face it, taking the ACT is a big deal. Prepping for the ACT exam for months, giving your best in the exam, and at the end, just constantly checking your MyACT account for the scores. Isn’t it annoying?

If you are a high school student who just took the ACT exam and is anxiously waiting for your ACT scores, then this blog is for you.

In this blog, we’ll inform you about the timeframes to receive the ACT scores, so that you know when to expect the scores and plan for your colleges accordingly.

No more constantly checking and no more anxiety, this blog will provide you with clear information to help you plan your college application strategy. It aims to answer everything related to “When do ACT scores come out?”. So, read on!

How long should students wait for ACT scores?

Typically, ACT scores are released after 2 to 8 weeks of the exam date. Scores for multiple-choice questions are available after two weeks of the exam date. However, sometimes it takes up to 8 weeks to release the scores.

Scores for the writing section are available two weeks after the scores of multiple-choice questions.

This is because essays written for the writing section are tested and scored by two trained readers. Each reader gives the essay a rating between 1 (lowest) and 6 (highest).

It is important for students to constantly check their MyACT account and ACT’s official website for updates regarding score release.
