Need to cancel a lesson? Here’s how to do it smoothly with your tutor.

We get it—plans change! If you need to cancel a lesson, whether it’s a trial or a regular session, you can do it easily through the Wiingy app. Here’s how it works and what to expect.

How to cancel a trial lesson

Here’s how you can cancel your Trial Lesson easily:

  1. Open the Wiingy app: Log in to your account on the Wiingy app or portal.
  2. Go to ‘My Lessons’ section: Click to the My Lessons section in the application where you can view all your scheduled trial lessons.
  3. Select the demo lesson: Find the trial lesson you want to cancel.
  4. Communicate with your tutor via Wiingy Chat: To cancel the trial lesson, simply go to the Chat section and inform your tutor about your cancellation. You can also reschedule the lesson if that suits you better.
  5. Confirm cancellation: Once you’ve informed your tutor, your demo lesson will be marked as cancelled in the system.

How to cancel a regular lesson

Canceling a regular lesson follows a similar process:

  1. Open the Wiingy app: Log in to your Wiingy account.
  2. Go to ‘My Lessons’: Navigate to the My Lessons section and find the lesson you wish to cancel.
  3. Select the lesson: Click on the lesson that you need to cancel.
  4. Message your tutor via Wiingy Chat: Use the Chat section to communicate with your tutor, letting them know you need to cancel the lesson.
  5. Confirm the cancellation: After confirming with your tutor, the lesson will be canceled on the calendar.
