As a classically trained tutor, I specialize in a technical and creative blend across my lessons. I offer a solid foundation in music theory, and ensure my students understand the basics. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and adaptable. I encourage students to use their creativity but emphasise good technique and skill above all. For all my students, I cater to their level of understanding and learning style, am communicative of areas of improvement, and support them through challenges. I assess my students with periodic check ins that suit my students' preferred method of learning, so they can best convey what they learn.
