The session focused on practical CAD commands and techniques for creating fabrication drawings, including image importing, object manipulation, layering, and dimensioning. The Student practiced using commands like Rectangle, Array Linear, Mirror, Copy, Trim, Hatch, and Dim Align, as well as creating and managing layers. The Tutor assigned the Student to practice more commands in the next session.

During a recent lesson, Shashi Kant introduced a student from UC Irvine to the Rhino interface. The instruction covered essential features like selection filters, grid and object snapping, and practical commands such as Shell and Boolean operations. The student then applied these tools to construct a basic table and chair. As a follow-up, Shashi Kant assigned the learner the task of creating a similar chair, reinforcing the commands practiced.

They used design software to visualize the plot and started planning the ground floor layout. The session ended abruptly before further progress could be made.

They adjusted simulation parameters and created different views to analyze fluid mixing. Shashi Kant assisted Eddy Lopez in setting up a SolidWorks assembly and preparing for an Ansys Fluent simulation of a tea prototype with air, steam, and milk. They worked on cleaning up the CAD model, assembling the parts, and defining the fluid properties. Due to time constraints, they saved the file to continue the simulation setup in a future session.
