Michael - Know your english tutor
Hello. My name is Michael. I am a native English speaker from Canada. I also speak French, and Mandarin Chinese. I love to make grammar and learning fun for younger students by using funny examples, and challenging students with a higher level by engaging them in conversational classes. Having taught English for over 22 years to students as young as 3, and as old as 68, I am confident that I can be the teacher you need and want, to reach your English goals... no matter what they are! This doesn't need to be complicated: Tell me what your goals are, and we will work together to achieve them in a fun, efficient way! Pronunciation? No problem. Accent issues? Let's work on them. Grammar got you down? Let me show you a new way to master tenses or other areas. Speaking and listening causing concern in your life? Yes, we can certainly tackle those issues as well. Specifically tailored lessons means you get what you want!

English classes overview
Honestly I don't like the question about "teaching methodology". I believe, if we take some time to think about the question, we can agree that it is operating under a false assumption. Do you speak to young children the same way you speak to adults? Do you speak to your boss the same way you speak to your friend? When your friend who has no experience with fixing a car asks you for help, do you give them the same advice as you give your mechanic? We meet people where they are. Some people learn best by doing, others by listening or thinking. Some need constant stimulation, other prefer quiet reflection. There is nothing wrong with sitting and quietly writing a story, nor with playing loud games in a classroom, so long as these activities suit the needs of the students. Basically then, I don't use A methodology. I use many different ideas that have shown their effectiveness in different areas, based on the specific student's needs and goals. This is what teaching is. It is not a "my way or the highway" scenario. It is a "how can I help you best" journey. That starts not by what I want, but by what my students need.
