Lauren prides herself on being a well-rounded mind as she has education ranging from the humanities to the hard sciences. Her initial degree was a double major in Theater and Literature from New College of Florida where she received a full-scholarship plus a merit stipend. She later returned to school at UCLA for a post-baccalaureate degree as a pre-med and maintained a 4.0 GPA. She teaches the SAT/ACT, MCAT, physics, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry and biology. She also specializes in admissions essay preparation.

I employ an engaging and collaborative approach to tutoring, focusing on problem-solving and providing support to students at all levels, including adult and professional learners. I customize my teaching style to make complex scientific concepts relatable and exciting, using interactive experiments to deepen understanding.
