Empathetic ESL and English tutor with engaging, adaptable methods

Hello, I'm Joalan Pinto (Joe for short), an English tutor specializing in ESL. With a Bachelor's degree in Geology, my teaching philosophy involves engaging students through interactive and fun learning activities. I am also fully TESOL certified. I believe in creating a supportive environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow. I specialize in teaching pre-K1 to k6 education levels of phonics, grammar, reading, writing, spelling, comprehension, and free chat. I've taught ESL for companies like VIPKid, GOGOKid, and North Star English Incorporated. Learning English is fun!!!

I specialize in teaching phonics, grammar, reading, writing, spelling, and comprehension to students between the ages of three to sixteen. Adult students are also welcome to learn ESL from me. My teaching style is adaptive, patient, supportive, motivational, and unique. I use physical props, total physical responsiveness (my arms, hands, fingers, and facial expression), a whiteboard and pens, and rewards to teach my students. Each student is at a different level of learning, which I highly respect and consider. And thus, I want to make their learning curves comfortable and organic. Awesome!
