AP Calculus AB multiple-choice questions (MCQs)

Unlike, free-response questions, there are no official multiple-choice questions available for any AP exam. But you can access some official sample questions for the AP Calculus AB exam. This document contains 16 MCQs along with answers.

This document contains questions for both AP Calculus BC and AP Calculus AB. AP Calculus AB questions start from page 5 and continue till page 28.

AP Calculus AB exam

Generally, AP exams are conducted in the month of May for a duration of 2 weeks. AP Calculus AB exam for 2023 will be held on Monday, May 8th, 2023, at 8:00 A.M. local time.

This exam will be 3 hours and 15 minutes long, and will be spread across two sections:

  • Section A: multiple-choice questions
  • Section B: free-response questions

Section A consists of 45 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Section B consists of 6 free-response questions (FRQs) and lasts for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Both sections have equal weightage.
