My teaching methodology focuses on developing a conscious and expressive connection between body, voice, and emotion. Each class begins with stretching movements to prepare the body for singing and to promote healthy posture and breathing. We then move on to vocal warm-up exercises, where we work on technique—such as breath control, resonance, and vocal placement—through progressive and personalized exercises. During the second part of the lesson, we apply these techniques directly to a song of the student’s choice, exploring interpretation, phrasing, and emotional expression while refining technical aspects in context. This approach allows students to internalize technique in a meaningful and enjoyable way. The lessons are flexible and adaptive, tailored to the student’s abilities, goals, and musical preferences. I combine musicality, patience, and confidence-building to create a motivating and supportive environment where students can grow at their own pace and develop both technical mastery and authentic expression.
