How to add subjects to your tutor listing ?

Adding subjects to your tutor listing is an important step in displaying your expertise and ensuring that students can find you based on the subjects they want to learn. This article will guide you through the process of adding and updating subjects in your tutor profile.

How to add subjects to your listing?

To add subjects to your tutor listing, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Wiingy Tutor Portal:
  2. Go to the Listings section:
    • Navigate to Account > Enrich > Listings from your dashboard.
  3. Select the listing you want to edit:
    • Click Review Listing for the specific listing you want to update.
  4. Add your subjects:
    • In the Subject section, click on Add Subjects and select from the available categories. Make sure to only select the subjects you are confident in teaching.
  5. Save your listing:
    • After selecting your subjects, click Save to update your listing.

Editing subjects in your listing

If you need to update or add more subjects to your tutor listing, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Listings section:
    • From Account > Enrich > Listings, select the listing you want to edit.
  2. Select the listing to edit:
    • Click Review Listing for the specific listing you want to update.
  3. Edit the subjects:
    • Click on Edit Subjects and add, remove, or change the subjects listed.
  4. Save changes:
    • After making changes, click Save to confirm the update.

Enhancing your subjects list

To ensure that your tutor listing attracts more students, follow these tips for enhancing your subjects list:

  • Be specific:
    • Select subjects in which you have strong expertise and you can teach confidently.
  • Include popular subjects:
  • Avoid over-listing:
    • Don’t include subjects you are not familiar with or not comfortable for teaching. Keep your subject list concise and relevant.
  • Update your subjects regularly:
    • As your teaching expertise grows, regularly update your subject list to reflect your current skills.
