Creative and supportive ESL & ACT Writing lessons

My teaching methodology for ACT Writing is centered around motivating students to express themselves clearly and creatively while developing their writing skills. I believe that patience and compassion are key to creating a comfortable learning environment, where students can feel safe to make mistakes and learn from them. I focus on understanding each student’s unique needs and learning style, which allows me to tailor lessons to be most effective for them. I encourage students to explore different writing techniques, helping them build confidence in their ability to structure essays, develop strong arguments, and express their ideas clearly. Through real-life examples and interactive exercises, I guide students to understand the importance of clarity, coherence, and creativity in writing. We work together to strengthen their writing process, from brainstorming to drafting to revision. With my support, students not only improve their ACT Writing scores but also develop a deeper appreciation for writing as a form of self-expression. Whether preparing for the ACT or mastering writing fundamentals, my goal is to inspire students to see the power of writing and feel confident in their skills.
