AP government that’s empathetic & engaging

My teaching methodology for AP US History is built around accountability, creativity, flexibility, and empathy. I encourage students to take ownership of their learning by setting clear goals and actively participating in lessons. I use creative techniques such as multimedia, storytelling, and real-world connections to make history come alive and help students grasp complex concepts. I adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of each student, providing flexibility in how we explore topics. Empathy plays a key role, as I understand each student’s unique challenges and learning style. In addition to AP US History, I also teach related subjects like US Government and Civics, using the same approach to ensure a comprehensive understanding of historical and political topics. My goal is to make learning history engaging, relatable, and accessible for all students.
