About your tutor
My name is Ysabel Hall, and for the past 2 years, Ive had the rewarding opportunity of guiding 145 students on their academic journeys. My passion for education and tutoring stems from a desire to empower students and witness their growth in understanding the multitude of concepts present in the subject of Algebra. Leveraging my background in mathematics for which I have M.Sc degree from the university of Illinois, I can provide more than adequate assistance for Algebra, while also offering support in Calculus and Geometry. Outside of the classroom, I find myself drawn to the wonders of nature, which I believe fosters a well-rounded perspective that I integrate into my teaching approach.

My teaching methodology allows Algebra to be taught in a fun and interactive manner. I will conduct a minor one-on-one discussion to help communicate topics that require proper emphasis and topics that can be self-taught. I will also break down the concepts and formulaes that require the emphasis with the help of creative online aids. I will make it a point to regularly evaluate student progress through quizzes and fun learning games to identify effectiveness of the tutoring and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
