Engaging Spanish lessons with hands-on practice.

When I arrived in the UK in 2019, I never imagined I would find my true calling in teaching. My world revolved around the film industry; creating and bringing stories to life through audiovisual media. But when Covid hit, I realised I needed a career that offered more freedom, stability, and a sense of purpose. Having recently embarked on my own journey of learning English, I understood the challenges of mastering a new language. That’s when the idea struck me; why not help others do the same? Teaching my native language became a passion, motivating me to study teaching and develop the skills to support others in their language learning journey. Since then, I’ve gained over four years of experience teaching online and in schools, working with mainstream and SEND children aged 5 to 19, as well as teaching adults for two years. Every student has brought a unique perspective, making each lesson a chance to learn and grow. Beyond teaching, creativity remains central to who I am. With a background in Audiovisual Media and theatre, I enjoy photography, creative projects, and storytelling. In my free time, I love travelling, exploring nature, and focusing on personal development. Living in the UK, originally from Venezuela and have lived across South America and Europe, so I speak Spanish with a neutral Latin American accent, helping students connect with a widely understood version of the language. My family in Spain means I visit often, drawn by the warmth of the climate and culture, a contrast to British weather! My journey from film to education has been unexpected yet deeply fulfilling, allowing me to combine my love for language, creativity, and human connection. I look forward to continuing to help others achieve their language learning goals.
