In my Journey in selecting a college that best suit my career goals and aspiration, I often reflects on my experience and strengths. Academic fit, extracurricular activities and a supportive community are the key criteria I consider in choosing a college.
Principally,based on my experience in Petroleum engineering and my interest in fluid mechanics, reservoir engineering, and strength of materials, I seek a college that not only offers a broad curriculum but also provides platforms for specialization and practical application. My seven-day boot camp with DevTown, along side with a project on extracting oil from coconuts, showcase my commitment to hands-on learning and problem-solving. Thus, a college that encourages and facilitates such experiences aligns with my educational goals.

Secondly, my second factor revolves around extracurricular activities.My active participation in the Red Cross and the Welfare Committee, showcasing leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to community service highlight my involvement in extraciricular activities. I aspire to continue contributing to the well-being of my peers while promoting a positive environment within the academic community. A college with a thriving extracurricular scene would not only complement my academic journey but also provide a platform to apply and enhance my leadership and teamwork skills.

My third but not least factor is the presence of a supportive community.Reflecting on my journey into STEM and the transformative experience of thriving in a field I initially did not choose—Petroleum Engineering. During my time at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology I had enough support from my peers which made me realize the importance of a nuturing academic environment. I seek a college where unity is fostered, diversity is embraced, and students are encouraged to explore their passions, even if they deviate from the conventional path.

In conclusion, as I ellaborate the college selection process,I believe my top 3 criteria for selecting a college will guide me to achieve my goals. I prefer a college that not only aligns with my educational and career experience and aspiration but also provides a holistic environment for personal l growth. Just as I embraced the unexpected turn in my academic journey, I am open to the possibilities that lie ahead, confident that the right college will offer the foundation for a fulfilling and successful future.
