I remember the day I decided to tackle my standardized exams head-on, my heart filled with determination and at that moment Albert Einstein words were in my mind: ‘The only way to do great work is to love what you do.’ And so, I embarked on a journey starting with mentally preparing myself that I am doing this for my own self and after fully motivating myself I started my preparation with my study materials in hand, I prepared myself to shatter any obstacles that would come in my path. Still, a flicker of doubt was within me, I was lacking self-confidence and my anxiety got best of me. Determined to conquer this fear, I talked to my parents and brother. Their words of encouragement ignite a self-assurance within me, empowering me to conquer any challenge that lay ahead. I started my preparation with making a schedule and study plan. My study plan distributed my day in parts which included the time in which I had my meals, took nap and the time parameters in which I studied. As my school teachers taught me that how crucial it is to work with maintaining the time so I used a timer during my study session to simulate the time pressure and between that I didn’t forgot to take care of myself I took breaks, exercise and engage in activities that helped me relax and destress because it is important to maintain a healthy balance between study and selfcare. I organized my notes and creating handy study guides. I even took advantage of some helpful websites that provided extra practice questions and explanations. I knew I had to minimize distractions, so I managed myself to stay away from my phone while studying. It was tough, but totally worth it! I created a study schedule and stuck to it, focusing on one subject at a time. I poured over my textbooks, making sure to jot down important points and concepts in my notes. The vision of my colorful, well-organized notes motivated me to keep going and whenever the temptation to check social media arose, I reminded myself of my goal and stayed committed to my studies. One of my weak points I knew I had to work on was on Math and I found YouTube to be a fantastic resource for studying math. There were so many helpful tutorials and explanations that made complex concepts much easier to understand. For other subjects, I got creative and started making mind maps. It was a fun and effective way to visually organize my thoughts. Mind maps helped me see the bigger picture and made studying more engaging. By incorporating these techniques and taking help of my teachers I was able to grasp difficult concepts and information more effectively. The day before exam I was getting anxious that will I reach the expectations but knew I had to stay calm to ease my nerves I took some time for myself I made sure to get a good night sleep knowing that a rested mind performs better before sleeping I revised and practice deep breathing I prayed and reminded myself that I had put in the hard work and preparations and now it was time to trust my self with a calm mind I drifted of to sleep ready to face the exam with confidence the next day. All my hard work paid off and I finally aced my standardized .
