“High GPA or Strong Extracurriculars: What’s Your Priority and Why?”

Having a high GPA is my priority. Growing up I was always pushed to make good grades and that having an education would be the best thing you could ever have. I strongly believe that making good grades and passing classes is one of the accomplishments you would want to achieve in life. I can admit that our school system isn’t the best, but if you put in the work you’ll be able to surpass that.
Having an education can get you anywhere in life. Some people don’t like the idea of being in school all their life, but something as small as an associates degree can get you to a lot of places. Most people dream in life is to grow up and become rich or famous. I think that you can’t achieve that without some sort of education even if it’s just your high school diploma.
There are plenty of celebrities out there that didn’t finish school or have a GED, but how many are out there that would wish to have finished school. If you’re looking to get anywhere in the job world or achieve your dream job there are some things you have to go through in order to reach that. The biggest thing is going to school or even attending online lessons to educate yourself on the journey you’re choosing to embark on.
Being good in extracurriculars isn’t a bad thing but those things can only get you so far in life. Yes you’ll become famous at what you’re good at, but you can’t do that for the rest of your life. Well you ask who wants to work for the rest of their life, nobody. It becomes the question of whether you think it is best for you to either have a high GPA or to be good at extracurriculars.
At the end of the day it depends on the person’s state of mind. I believe it’s best for me to have a high GPA because I know that I am guaranteed a clear path into the future I chose to pursue.
