Improving my GPA.

I used different strategies in my senior year to improve my GPA. I should specify that not all of them worked and I will explain why. I will use these strategies during my last trimester in high school and later during my time in college as well.
The first strategy I used was to spend at least 30 minutes per day studying, particularly when I had an exam or a project to present. I should specify that there were days when I was completely busy with sports, community activities or personal activities and I did not study as much as I should, or I just did not study at all, but I tried to study every time I could. This strategy worked very well, because my GPA improved and I feel more confident with my knowledge in certain subjects, such as science.
Another strategy that I implemented in this last year was to try to sleep better, and because of this I have a better understanding in my classes because I slept better and the correct number of hours. I saw this was a good strategy, because it was easier to pay attention in class, and my grades improved.
I tried to implement the strategy of taking more notes, but it did not work very well, because I am not particularly good at learning by seeing things or in this case notes. My type of learning is by listening to the topic I want to learn about. Even though this strategy did not work very well, I kept, and I will keep taking notes, because I want to improve my skill to learn by seeing information.
Another strategy I used was to ask more questions when I do not understand topics of the different subjects I am taking. I used to be scared and embarrassed of asking questions, mostly because English is not my first language and I was terrified of making mistakes when I speak, but now I am trying to ask more questions and that is helping me to improve my English, giving me as a result a better understanding and more knowledge in my school subjects.
I have decided to keep developing ideas or strategies to keep learning, improving my GPA, and gaining more knowledge during my last trimester in high school, and during my time in college. I will try my best effort to always keep learning and improving, and be a good student and person, and later when I finish my career, be a professional who people can trust and do my job in a correct form to help people.
