As a passionate and goal-oriented tutor, I successfully assisted middle school and high school students in a variety of math subjects ( pre-algebra, Algebra I and II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus AB and BC, Trigonometry) for the past 5 years. By creating an interactive and engaging learning environment along with personalized teaching plans, I am dedicated to improve the learning efficiency to boost test scores. My students are able to get “A” (90+) on final exams. Some students were skipped on level math course and advanced to next grade- level class via CBE (credit by exam) after being tutored during Spring or early summer. I hold a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University, where I also worked as a teaching assistant to grade homework and set weekly Q&A sessions for undergraduates.
