My name is Adrian, I am a 25 year old Viola player and teacher from Texas, and I’m excited to share my passion for music with students who are eager to learn, grow, and connect through the beauty of classical music. My approach to teaching is rooted in the classical tradition, focusing on building a strong technical foundation, developing expressive musicality, and cultivating a deep appreciation for the art of performance. I earned my bachelor’s degree in music from the Eastman School of Music, one of the most prestigious conservatories in the United States. During my time there, I had the privilege of studying with world-class teachers, performing in top-tier ensembles, and immersing myself in a rich and rigorous musical environment. The training I received at Eastman has shaped every part of who I am as a musician and a teacher.

I am studying Masters in Theoretical Physics with Advanced Research at the University of Hertfordshire. BYJUmy passion for physics and the pursuit of truth in the laws of nature has been a driving force in my life. I have always been a curious inquirer and an innovator at heart, and I have sought to apply the laws of physics for the betterment of society. I have a fish-eye view of different branches of physics and have delved into experimental and applied physics during my Master's degree. I aspire to immerse myself in the theoretical arenas of physics through a doctoral degree, fuelled by the same passion that has driven me since boyhood. Over the years, I have gained valuable experience working in different settings. I have served as a physics faculty member at BYJU’s and the Millennium School in Khammam, where I graded tests and exams, designed and implemented curricula, and offered academic, social, and emotional support to my students. I have also worked as a freelance tutor on Fiverr, where I have helped students grow and learn as academic scholars. As a research assistant at the School of Physics, University of Hyderabad, I worked on an experimental study on the angle and polarization dependence reflection properties of porous silicon-based coupled microcavities fabricated by electrochemical etching of silicon. This study is expected to provide useful information about tunable wave reflectors for photovoltaic device applications. My educational background includes an Integrated M.Sc. from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, where I synthesized hydroxyapatite through microwave-assisted ball milling and studied its phase, grain size, porosity, density, etc., for bone implant application. I optimized the conditions like temperature, time, and particle size of reactants through a trial-and-error method, and my work was published in the Integrated Ferroelectrics Taylor and Francis, an international journal. Apart from my academic and research pursuits, I have a range of hobbies that keep me engaged. I love reading books, science/tech articles, playing badminton, chess, cricket, and watching documentaries. I am proud of my achievements, including being nominated by the Director of NIT Rourkela to represent the institute at the Festival of Innovations at Rashtrapati Bhavan, winning the tie-up competition for THE LOST SYMBOL as part of INNOVISION at NIT ROURKELA, and securing a National 16th (State 1st) rank in the National Biotechnology Olympiad and a State 10th rank in the International English Olympiad by Edu heal Foundations. I have also volunteered as a science tutor at Draksharamam Primary School in Khammam and worked as a surveyor for the Smart-village transformation project of Raketla, Uravakonda (mandal), where I served as a facilitator for problem-solving and peaceful resolutions. Lastly, I have been working on a self-started project about generating renewable power using osmosis, called Aqua HDG. Using solutions to create extra pressure and necessary flow for power generation, my theoretical prototype of the project is under development and is to be optimized to work for an average home, which is later to be scaled for different domains of consumers. Overall, my journey as a physicist has been rewarding, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to the field through my research, teaching, and innovative pursuits.

My teaching approach encourages creativity, experimentation, use of compositional techniques, and exploration of the musical world the composer is living in today. Speaking of today, music technology is also a core part of my teaching, especially an approach to technology that will help the student adapt to such an ever-rapidly changing field. My lessons are aimed at beginner and intermediate level composers of all ages, and catered to the individual student's background, interests, and goals. Lessons generally consist of a custom-tailored blend of the following: constructive feedback on music the student is currently creating, introduction to music that the student might find worth listening to, introduction and implementation of theory concepts and compositional techniques, music technology training, and allowing the student to experiment.

My personalized tutoring approach focuses on confidence building, engagement, musicality, expression, and relaxation to create a voice and acting style that is unique to the individual. I specialize in teaching a variety of singing genres, including Broadway, Movie, Rock, Country, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Classical, and Folk singing. To enhance online learning, I use a range of tech tools, like video conferencing platforms, audio recording software, virtual sheet music libraries, virtual accompanist music libraries, and interactive whiteboards. I follow a structured curriculum tailored to each student's needs, ensuring over 100 students, from beginners to intermediate levels and across all age groups, receive comprehensive and interactive singing lessons that nurture their talent and boost their skills effectively.

As an ESL/reading tutor, I specialize in teaching students at all levels of elementary education. My teaching methodology involves focusing on speaking practice, interactive discussions, and reading comprehension. I believe in helping students excel in literature analysis and reading, which are crucial for academic success and beyond. Drawing from my own studies in literary analysis and effective communication strategies, I aim to enhance reading comprehension skills in my students. Additionally, I incorporate peer reviews to encourage constructive feedback and create a sense of community in the learning process. My goal is to make learning engaging and effective for every student I work with. I aim to create active participation in my class to support retention of ongoing learning.
