I have a degree in music, specialising in composition from the Birmingham Conservatoire. I can teach a variety of styles though I mostly tend to teach beginner level guitar, bass and ukulele students. I probably have a greater grasp of music theory and composition than the average guitar tutor. If you're looking for a super technical guitar teacher to show you complex metal riffs, noodly jazz solos, elite level classical technique etc, then I might not be the right choice, but if you're looking to develop your ear, expression, creativity and general musicianship then I can likely help. I also know a lot about guitar maintenance, repair, construction, and guitar pedals, having done a lot of repair work on my 10 guitars and having built a few guitar pedals.
