Creative Piano tutor with interactive, problem-solving strategies

Hello, my name is Ying-Hua, and I'm from Taiwan. I have a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and over 15 years of experience teaching piano to students of all ages and levels, from young children to retirees. I teach in both English and Mandarin, specializing in classical music while incorporating popular songs and anime music to make lessons more engaging and personalized. I also prepare students for ABRSM piano exams in all grades and provide coaching in repertoire and musical theory. From 2015 to 2021, I was based in Myanmar, where I taught students from diverse backgrounds, including those from various international schools. Additionally, from 2016 to 2017, I served as a visiting lecturer at the music department of a local institute. These experiences helped me develop a deeper ability to connect with students from different cultures and adapt my teaching style to their unique needs.
