SAT Verbal & ACT Reading with a patient & adaptable focus

My teaching methodology for ACT Reading is built on flexibility, communication, motivation, empathy, and problem-solving. I understand that each student has a unique learning style, so I adapt my lessons to fit their individual needs, ensuring that they grasp complex concepts with ease. Communication is key, and I create an open environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and discussing ideas. I motivate students by setting achievable goals and celebrating their progress, which helps them stay focused and confident. I also focus on problem-solving techniques, teaching students how to break down reading passages, understand underlying themes, and tackle tricky questions with confidence. Above all, I approach each student with empathy, recognizing their challenges and providing the support needed for success. In addition to ACT Reading, I can also teach relevant subjects like vocabulary development, critical reading, and writing strategies. My goal is to empower students with the skills they need to excel both on the test and in their academic journey.
