Hands-on Architecture lessons with interactive problem-solving focus

I am a utilitarian designer who has a problem-solving approach to design and keeps a keen eye for detail. Seeking a perfect balance between design, functionality and the experiential aspect of a space is my design motto. I began my undergraduate education at the University of Mumbai and transferred to Montana State University for the completion of my Bachelor’s for exposure and a more varied experience. While at MSU, I was recognized for my exemplary contributions to cultural and international programs and was conferred with the 'MSU Pure Gold' award on April 11, 2018. I also have taken Earth Construction courses at Auroville, India; which inspired me to follow the Environmental Design route at MSU. I am an Autodesk-certified Revit Architecture professional and also have a certified Construction Manager in training. In my spare time, you can find Saurabh engrossed in sketching, painting in watercolor, writing, or cooking scrumptious food.

My teaching methodology revolves around a balanced blend of smart work and hard work. I firmly believe in instilling in my students the importance of leveraging both intelligence and diligence to achieve success. In the realm of architecture and software utilization, I emphasize the development of critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. My approach encourages students to actively engage with challenges, fostering a mindset that seeks innovative solutions to complex problems. Through hands-on projects and practical exercises, I guide them in harnessing the power of various software tools to translate their creative visions into tangible designs. By empowering students to tackle real-world architectural dilemmas with confidence and ingenuity, I aim to equip them with the skills needed to thrive in the dynamic field of architecture, utilizing their software skills effectively.
