My tutoring methodology relies on having interactive conversations with the learner where I try to understand the students needs and then act accordingly. Using real life parallels to understand music can be a very effective tool which can be engaging for the student and they tend to pick up things fast as well. In an online mode of learning where it is very natural to think that learning music is difficult I openly challenge this philosophy as the types of tools that are available and types of things that can be done using an online mode are endless. Activities and games help the learner in picking up things a lot faster than normal irrespective of the age and learning dynamics.
I love to use multiple cameras during my classes as they give a detailed view of everything that is happening in the class and helps the student in learning everything to minutest detail possible, apart from that everything that we do in the class is recorded in the form of documents which are shared with the students alike which help them in keeping track of their progress as well.
