Practical Spanish lessons with engaging approach

My name is Ruth, I am from the UK and I have completed an arts degree within Filmmaking and Language studies (Minored in Portuguese). My degree consisted of a combined material which engaged with the critical, historical, theoretical and practical approaches to the study of film and television whilst participating in a range of creative work at the University of Bristol. I enjoyed my time at university as I was able to balance my arts degree with my love for learning a new language. During my time at college, I studied A level Spanish as well as growing up in a multilingual household with Spanish and English as the main languages as I have Ecuadorian and English heritage. My interest in languages has motivated me to travel, meet new people and find creative ways of teaching myself to find the best methods to learn. I am eager to meet new people from different cultures and learn more, most recently I lived in Rio de Janeiro for a few months to immerse myself in the culture and language. It was an amazing experience. Combining my love for the arts is something I long to incorporate into my teaching style! Whether that be through music, studying pop culture or simply recommending shows to watch! I love to do this, as well as finding the best ways to tailor my lessons for my students.
