About your tutor
I've been playing piano for 18 years and teaching for 8, and I’m passionate about helping students develop their skills while fostering a genuine love for music. I graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a degree in music composition, and throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to receive various awards for my work, including the MACEF Illustrious Award. As both a pianist and composer, I believe that music is more than just technique, it’s a powerful form of creativity and self-expression. My approach to teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals while also encouraging students to explore their own musical voice. Whether a student is just beginning their journey or looking to refine their skills, I strive to create a positive and engaging learning environment that makes playing the piano both rewarding and enjoyable. Above all, my goal is to inspire confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music in every student I teach.
