The student practiced scales (G major and D major), sight reading, and worked on the piece "Way Out West." The student focused on finger placement, recognizing intervals, and identifying patterns. The tutor assigned practice of the scales and "Way Out West" with hands separate before combining them.

The Student and Tutor discussed the pieces selected for the upcoming Grade Two piano exam and reviewed new scales and sight-reading material. They worked on the G major scale hands together and sight-reading exercises with both hands playing simultaneously. The Student was assigned to listen to one of their chosen pieces and practice the G major scale hands together as homework, with a focus on improving clapping skills for the aural test.

The Student also reviewed dynamics and articulation in Berry Smoothie, Mosiden, and Remember Me, with an emphasis on musicality and control. The tutor assigned practice using a YouTube video and provided a practice sheet covering oral information and scales.
