Guitar lessons that are engaging & collaborative

Hello! My name is Charlie and I'm a guitarist based in London. My background is in theatre, playing in pit bands for musical theatre shows and playing in function bands as well as playing original music. My main project at the moment is my band Coming Up Roses, recently finishing a tour of Southeast Asia which is where most of our fanbase is at the moment, playing shows in Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Japan. I attended the institute of contemporary music performance in London, where I met my bandmates. During my time as a music student and as a working musician I learned a lot lessons about not only playing guitar but working as a musician, playing in bands and performance in general, picking up knowledge I hadn't when taking private guitar lessons. I've always enjoyed teaching guitar to students of all abilities but particularly beginners, with some of my favourite parts of teaching being watching someone go from having little experience with the instrument to playing songs they were excited to learn.
