Piano concept taught by Jayne
The student practiced scales (C major and D minor) and worked on two pieces: "Rondo Alerta" (B section, fingering, and hand positions) and "Tarantella" (first two lines, chords, accidentals). The student is expected to practice the discussed sections of both pieces, paying particular attention to fingering and transitions.

They also started a new piece, 'Morning,' learning about its time signature and note values. Abraham's practice assignment includes the first two lines of 'Rondo Alura' and the initial line of 'Morning.' Jayne will send Abraham the music for 'Morning' and a link to an appropriate Alfred piano book for upcoming lessons.
