A 2017 finalist in the Wilson Center International Guitar Competition, he studied jazz with Henry Johnson of the Ramsey Lewis Group, honing his skills in performance and composition. As the founder of Top Shelf Music Library, Jonah has created opportunities for musicians through innovative sample packs. He has amassed over 3 million streams as a solo artist and writes for his band, One Car Garage. Jonah specializes in indie, jazz, and lofi music, offering personalized lessons that focus on technique, creativity, and achieving each student’s unique goals.
