French tutoring that’s practical & adaptable

Hi there! My name is Vandana and I am currently living my student life in Canada! I am originally form a small island called Mauritius, known for its tropical climate, sandy beaches and turquoise oceans. I have always been keen to learn and to teach from an early age! I always have something new that I am learning or teaching as a matter of fact : my most recent certification is that of a Therapeutic Art Life Coach and I am looking for something to add to my skillsets! Teaching inspired me from an early age seeing my mother (she is a lecturer lol) but also the art of helping someone get better at something is what keeps me passionate about it! I teach through interactive skills and a lot of practice! Customization to a learning plan is key because each student has their own pace and methods that work best for them! In the first lesson, it is more about getting to know the student and understand the importance of the lessons to them: needs, expectations, methods that have worked in the past and future availabilities and commitment to learning. This helps create a concrete base to learn effectively. I teach kids who have just started learning the language, help practice and increase their vocabulary and pronunciation, as well as adults with little to no knowledge who want to add a new language to their resumes.
