Interactive and engaging French lessons for real-world use

Bonjour! My name is Amrit Kaur, and I’m delighted to introduce myself. I am a B.Com graduate currently pursuing the Diploma in Accounting Program (DAP) at the University of British Columbia. As a DELF-certified tutor and passionate language learner for over four years, I have had the pleasure of teaching French to students in hospitality management. I understand that one of the most common challenges students face while learning a new language is finding an environment where they can effectively apply what they’ve learned. To address this, I strive to create an immersive learning environment that simplifies understanding and concept retention. I incorporate engaging activities, such as role-plays, to make our sessions interactive and enjoyable. To help tackle pronunciation and writing errors, I also utilize dictée, which reinforces listening and writing skills simultaneously. Being multilingual in English, French, Hindi, and Punjabi, I can explain concepts in a way that is accessible and clear. My ultimate goal is to foster a welcoming atmosphere where you can flourish in your French language journey, ensuring you feel prepared and empowered every step of the way!
