I’ve been learning violin on and off for years, but it wasn’t until I started lessons with Vancroft in Castro that everything finally made sense. Vancroft has a special way of explaining difficult techniques like shifting and vibrato that no other teacher has. she makes complicated things much easier to understand, and I’ve finally started to make real progress. her teaching has made a big difference in my playing.
