My teaching approach for AP US Government and Politics is centered on Diplomacy, Accountability, and Open-mindedness. I emphasize Accountability by setting clear expectations, tracking progress, and motivating students to take responsibility for their learning. Open-mindedness is key in exploring different political ideologies and encouraging critical thinking. In addition to AP US Government and Politics, I also teach related subjects like civics, history, and economics, helping students understand the interconnectedness of political systems, the economy, and society. My goal is to provide students with the tools to succeed academically while fostering a deeper understanding of politics and civic engagement.
