About your tutor

I have a deep passion for music and education, which fuels my dedication to helping students reach their full potential. With 2 years of experience teaching violin to around 250 high school and college students, I’ve had the privilege of guiding a diverse range of learners. My approach focuses on both technical skill and personal growth, fostering creativity, confidence, and a true love for music. Throughout my career, I’ve helped students achieve significant milestones—winning regional competitions, preparing for college auditions, and advancing their understanding of music theory and performance. I’m proud of the progress my students make, not just as musicians, but as individuals. I create a positive, supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to embrace challenges and celebrate their achievements. Whether they are beginners or advanced, I tailor my lessons to suit each student’s needs, inspiring them to reach new heights in their musical journey. Music is a powerful tool for growth, and I am excited to continue helping students explore its endless possibilities.

Teaching methodology

My teaching methodology for violin is built on flexibility, collaboration, and real-life examples, all while maintaining a strong foundation of integrity and creativity. I believe that each student has a unique learning style, so I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs, whether they are beginners or advanced players. Flexibility allows me to adapt to their progress and challenges, ensuring lessons remain engaging and effective. Collaboration is key—together, we set goals and work through challenges, making the learning process more enjoyable and rewarding. I use real-life examples and case studies to show how violin techniques apply to actual performances, helping students understand the broader context of their learning. This practical approach makes concepts easier to grasp and more meaningful. I also emphasize creativity, encouraging students to express themselves through music and explore their own musical voice. Integrity is at the core of everything I do—whether its providing honest feedback or creating a trusting and respectful learning environment. In addition to violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, and sight-reading, ensuring a well-rounded musical education that supports students’ growth as musicians.
