I am a dedicated tutor with 5 years of experience teaching AP U.S. Government and Politics to students of all levels. Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of teaching around 300 students, focusing on personalized learning to meet each student’s unique needs. I specialize in making complex political concepts, such as the Constitution, political ideologies, and public policy, clear and engaging. My teaching approach includes real-life examples, case studies, and fostering critical thinking skills. I am committed to helping students build confidence and succeed academically.

My teaching strategy for AP U.S. Government and Politics is centered around accountability, problem-solving, creativity, and integrity. I hold students accountable for their learning by setting clear goals and expectations, while providing the guidance they need to meet them. I emphasize problem-solving by helping students approach political issues and historical events with critical thinking, encouraging them to analyze and evaluate political systems and policies. Creativity is key in my approach—whether through real-world case studies, interactive discussions, or multimedia resources, I make abstract political concepts tangible and relevant to students lives. I also prioritize integrity, fostering a respectful and honest learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. This approach ensures that students not only succeed in their AP exams but also develop a deeper understanding of the political landscape. In addition to AP U.S. Government and Politics, I teach related subjects like U.S. history, political science, and civics, providing students with a well-rounded foundation in American government.
