Violin lessons that are engaging & motivational

As a violin tutor, I use an engaging and interactive teaching methodology to help school and college students improve their skills. My approach is empathetic and supportive, creating a motivating environment for my students. It is so hard to be authentically expressive when we are bound to pieces or musical content that does not excite the soul. That is why I place so much emphasis on playing pieces that captivate you and motivate you to keep pushing! Playing as a member of an ensemble is one thing, but learning as a solo performer is quite another. We obtain so much dynamic freedom when we make our own rules in the songs we find most engaging. I specialize in technical skills and creativity in performance and composition. I provide personalized suggestions for improvement and am really huge on allowing students to guide their own lessons. Many of my students have showcased their talents on stage at events and some have even pursued professional careers in music.
