About your french tutor
Bonjour! I'm Isabelle, a French tutor/teacher with a Bachelor in Education and a minor in French. I have also a Master in Leadership and Administration. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating an engaging learning environment for students of all levels. I taught French for 13 years now. I believe in using interactive methods to promote active learning and enhance comprehension. My focus is to make sure that my students understand and feel happy about what they have learned. Each student is special and learn differently. As a result, I believe that understanding the 9 multiple intelligences is key for a teacher to be successful. I also believe that anyone can learn if they are motivated. So stop thinking and let's jump together into the magical world of French, la langue de Molière!

Mme Bagassien led Ferris through a French pronunciation lesson, where they focused on linking words and mastering nasal sounds, particularly when discussing nationalities and languages. Ferris actively practiced linking and differentiating between similar sounds, such as 'a' and 'an.' They also developed strategies for pronouncing unfamiliar words by breaking them down into syllables, and Mme Bagassien pinpointed specific areas where Ferris could improve in isolating certain sounds.

Mme Bagassien's French lesson with Drew focused on the nuanced application of 'jouer' and 'faire' for sports and activities, emphasizing correct preposition usage based on gender and context. Drew actively practiced identifying the appropriate verbs and prepositions through various examples and exercises. To further enhance his fluency and confidence in sentence formation, Mme Bagassien suggested utilizing the 'Word Wall' website for additional verb conjugation practice.
